iCompute, like many other successful organizations, started out as merely an idea.  In 2006, Marc, our founder and director was completing his final year in Multimedia & Design at Seneca College.  While having a blast working on animations, websites and videos, the question occurred to him:   “Why did I have to wait till College to be able to do this??!!”

That’s when the concept of iCompute originated. What better way to capture the young minds of future generations than to offer them high end media programs right in their schools. Making it an inexpensive, easily accessed program, students would have the opportunity to truly experience a whole new world.

After graduation, Marc began taking his idea and introducing it to schools. In fall 2007 he exceeded his expectation of one school and provided six lunchtime & after school programs. Now, nearly four years later, iCompute is available in over 60 schools and is continuously growing as the word gets out.

With the help of a very talented, enthusiastic team, iCompute is constantly developing new programs and ideas to offer its students and communities. The happy ending would be that one day every student in every school will be enriched by the iCompute experience.
